Active User FAQs
Bot Operation
- Dashboard shows orders, timestamps, and average entry
- Status badges: running, paused, funding, or error
- E‑mail notifications for important events
You can always verify trades directly on your exchange.
To preserve strategy integrity and avoid emotional tinkering. Archive and create a new bot if you want different parameters.
- Archive a current bot and start a new one on the new exchange
- Or upgrade your plan to run more bots
Yes. You can pause and resume. Archiving permanently retires a bot from trading.
Your chosen interval: hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly.
Yes. If the minimum multiplier is below the minimum multiplier set in the settings and conditions are overheated, the bot can skip to avoid buying into short‑term tops.
The multiplier buys more on dips and less at tops. Unspent balance can be intentional to target better average entry. Ensure sufficient funds to cover increased volume during drawdowns.
Features & Strategies
- Max multiplier increases size on dips
- Min multiplier reduces size and then skips in overheated conditions if it falls below the minimum multiplier set in the settings

Our proprietary model adapts sizing based on market context, aiming to outperform fixed DCA over time.
Fixed DCA invests the same amount each time. Multiplier DCA adapts size to market conditions.
You can use one or the other.
Yes it does. At each interval the bot evaluates the multiplier; it may size up on dips or reduce/skip at overheated levels.
dca.bot focuses on accumulation. It does not sell or support stop‑loss/TP. Consider collateralized loan options if you need liquidity without selling.
Crashes typically increase the multiplier (up to your max), allocating more on deep dips while respecting your configured bounds.
We don’t offer paper trading. Use our backtests to explore behavior, or start with minimum order sizes on your exchange.
Performance & Data
See the interactive backtests on our homepage.
Backtests are historical simulations that show how our multiplier DCA strategy would have performed in the past. They use real market data to demonstrate the difference between our adaptive multiplier approach and traditional fixed DCA. You can test different amounts and time periods to see how the strategy performs under various market conditions. Try it yourself in our interactive backtest tool.
Visit the backtests section and:
- Enter your desired daily investment amount (e.g., $50)
- Select a start and end date for the backtest period
- Compare the results: multiplier DCA vs. regular DCA
- Analyze charts and detailed metrics like total returns, average entry, and market conditions
Test different scenarios in the backtest tool.
Yes. We use live data from real Bitcoin market prices and apply our multiplier model retrospectively. The backtests show exactly how the strategy would have performed with historical data. The data is updated daily, so you can see the most recent performance. Check out the live data yourself.
During bull markets, the multiplier deliberately reduces buy sizes or skips orders at overheated levels to avoid buying into short-term tops. This can lead to lower short-term performance. However, over the long term across multiple market cycles, this approach results in a better average entry price by investing more during dips and bear markets. You can observe this behavior in our historical backtests.
You can adjust the amount and time period in the backtest tool to test different scenarios. Advanced customizations (like custom multiplier ranges) are not currently available in the tool, but you can set these parameters when creating your own bot in the dashboard.
No. Backtests show historical performance and are not a guarantee of future results. They are a useful tool to understand how the strategy works under different market conditions, but crypto markets are unpredictable. Always invest responsibly and only what you can afford to lose. Use our backtest tool to analyze historical performance.
You'll see executed orders with timestamps and average entry. Some views compare results versus vanilla DCA.
Export from your exchange for now. Invoices are downloadable in billing.

Your account remains; bots stop trading (paused/archived). No partial refunds for unused periods, except as stated in our Terms.
Troubleshooting & Support
- Check bot status (running) and interval

- Confirm IP whitelisting settings at your exchange (if applicable)
- Ensure the key has spot‑trade permission and is active
- Refresh in the dashboard
- Confirm funds are in the correct spot wallet and currency
- Allow a few minutes for the exchange API to reflect updates

Scenario‑Based FAQs
Use monthly, weekly or daily with a balanced multiplier (min ~0.1×, max ~3×). Ensure your exchange meets its minimum order size. A daily bot catches the volatility better than a monthly bot.
Start with a basic plan and weekly frequency with modest amounts. Compare options on the Plans page.
Many users stack long‑term. Consider a conservative schedule and keep security best practices (2FA, API hygiene). Regulary withdraw from your exchange to your own cold wallet.
We focus on Bitcoin pairs since Bitcoin is outperforming any other crypto asset on a long-term basis.
Setup your bot like usual, sit back and wait for the market to recover. That is the magic of DCA.
Use higher frequency and a wider multiplier range. Only invest what you can afford to hold through volatility.
